Canfield Construction is a team of motivated, quality oriented, positive minded people who live with integrity. We enjoy our work and have a balance of family and fun in our lives. Everyone who touches or is touched by Canfield Construction has an excellent experience and we improve their life in a meaningful way.

We are the premier provider of turnkey building solutions in the industry. We achieve this by asking the best questions, listening to our client’s needs and then delivering the best possible solution using the finest, longest lasting and maintenance free materials available. We communicate with our clients throughout the entire building process.

We are a forward thinking team that is dedicated to researching the most effective building techniques and technologies available. We apply our knowledge and excellent craftsmanship to create buildings that are attractive in form and provide ease of use in function. We set the benchmark in creative design and quick turnaround in building time, to allow our clients to begin using their new building as quickly as possible. We make the building process easy for our clients.

Teamwork: Co-operation & Interdependence: I am a Team player and a team leader. I get involved, and strive to be a valued member of the team by giving something back to it. I do whatever it takes to achieve team goals through co-operation. I help to foster an atmosphere founded on integrity and mutual respect that relies on employee leadership, communication, and teamwork. I ask for help when I need it and I am considerate to others who ask me for help. I genuinely care for my fellow team mates.

Communication: I speak positively of my fellow team members and clients in both public and private. I apologize for any upsets first, and then look for a solution. I only discuss concerns in private with the person involved. I ask co-workers and clients how they are doing and listen for what they are truly communicating. I use clear communication and always respond in a respectful manner without the use of sarcasm. I speak with good purpose using empowering and positive conversation. It is important to keep the lines of communication open with my clients. A strong relationship gives them opportunity to let me know how the company is doing at meeting their needs, likes, and dislikes, this guarantees their satisfaction and keeps our company profitable.

Integrity/Honesty: I strive to be professional, reliable, trustworthy and honest. My integrity is a critical asset and I am committed to upholding it. I set high standards, and abide by them as I practice business fairly and behave ethically. I share my expectations with my team mates and strive to maintain a workplace built on mutual values, trust and goodwill. I stand behind what I say I will do for my team mates and clients. I communicate potential broken agreements at the first opportunity and clear up all broken agreements immediately

Reliability/Consistency: I am consistent in my actions so my team mates and clients can feel comfortable in dealing with me at all times. I am disciplined in my work, so my results, growth and success are consistent. My team members can rely on me to “pull my weight”, and if not, they are expected to hold me accountable. I arrive at work on time, and prioritize my work, so I can complete the tasks with the biggest impact first, so if someone is dependent on the completion of my task, they can know the job will be passed off in an accurate and timely manner.

Craftsmanship: Good enough isn’t. I delight in presenting products and services of exceptional quality that enhance the way our customers live for the long term. No matter how big the project, or how small the request, I strive for excellence in my response, for I relish perfection. I cherish my part on the team, and represent it with honor. I thrive on challenges, viewing them as an invitation to success. As part of a true team, I work together to routinely please my clients, surpass my record achievements, and drive my team to greater success. I take personal responsibility for searching out a better way for achieving higher quality. I let solutions start with me. I learn from my mistakes. I consistently learn, grow and master my skills, so that I can help my fellow team members learn, grow and master too. I present myself as a professional craftsman.

Fun & Positive Attitude: I view my life as a journey to be enjoyed and appreciated and I create an atmosphere of fun and happiness, so all around me enjoy it as well. A positive attitude empowers me and is the foundation for excellence. Excellence is an individual attitude, which defines how successful I will be. I adopt a positive attitude and lifestyle. When I come across a challenge I choose to focus on the satisfaction of triumphing over it, and celebrate the outcome.

Safety: I am confident that my foreman will schedule me to work in a safe environment, and that reasonable measures are taken to insure safety on the job site. I will use caution on the jobsite to insure my own and my team mate’s safety.

Balance: I have a balanced approach to life, remembering that my spiritual, social, physical and family aspects are just as important as my financial and intellectual. Work is important and family time is equally important. I complete my work and my most important tasks first, so I can have quality time to myself, with my family and also to renew. Vacation and play time are a part of my life. My role in my family is valued and respected when needing time off from work.

Systems: I am confident that systems streamline my work, and am willing to become an active part of the Canfield Construction systems. I always look to the system for a solution. If a challenge arises, I use a system correction before I look for a people correction. I follow the system exactly until a new system is introduced. Because I bring special talents and areas of expertise to the company, I am willing to contribute my observations as part of the team to help bring improvement to our systems, as I see better ways to complete my tasks.
